HEMCO

About us

Producing products that build brands

Hemco Designs was founded in June 2010. Our goal has always been producing products that build brands and improve visibility. We work from Coffee Plaza, Ground Floor, Exchange Lane, off Haile Selassie Ave, Nairobi, Kenya, with office and production space under one roof.

Our vision

To manufacture and supply products that feature a company logo, name or advertising message — promoting brands, corporate identity, events and organisations.

Our mission

To be a leading brand promotion manufacturing company in Kenya with regional presence.

What we have built

Capacity

Grown to produce and supply over 1,000 items per day.

Quality

Our selling point has always been quality and consistency.

Product development

A diverse range built around client needs and business goals.

Team culture

Problem solving and efficiency are central to how the team works.

How we work

Local manufacturing

Cut and stitched in Nairobi. Supports local jobs, and it means you can walk the floor.

Customisation

Tailored sizes, precise fits and personalised designs — not catalogue-only.

Rapid prototyping

Fast turnaround on design iterations and samples before the full run.

Quality

Material selection matched to the job, so garments last rather than fade out in a season.

Timeliness

Reliable, on-time delivery against the date you gave us.

Effective communication

Clear updates through the process, and early warning when something slips.

Data protection

Your designs, artwork and brand concepts stay yours. No unauthorised disclosure.

Competitive pricing

Itemised quotes at volume pricing, so you can see what you are paying for.

How it runs

Brief to delivery, with a sample in between

The size set is the step most suppliers skip. It costs a little and it is the reason a rollout fits.

  1. Brief

Tell us the garment, the fabric, the quantities and the branding. Online or over a call.

  2. Quote

Itemised pricing and a lead time, usually within a working day.

  3. Sample

A size set made and approved before we cut the full run.

  4. Production

Cut, stitched and branded in our Nairobi factory, with updates as it moves.

  5. Delivery

Quality checked, packed by size, delivered to your site.

Branding

3 ways to put your mark on it

Compare techniques

Which one is right depends on the garment, the quantity and how the mark has to survive. We will tell you if you have picked the wrong one.

Embroidery

Stitched thread. Premium and hard-wearing — the default for uniforms.

Screen printing

Spot-colour ink. Cheapest at volume, flat matte finish.

Heat transfer

Cut vinyl pressed on. Crisp edges — names and numbers.
