We make in Nairobi, employ in Nairobi, and buy in Nairobi where we can. That is not a campaign — it is how the business has run since 2010, and it is the part of our work we are asked about most by the organisations we supply.
Local manufacturing
Every garment is cut and stitched at Coffee Plaza. Choosing locally made kit keeps the money, the skills and the jobs in Kenya rather than exporting them to an offshore mill.
What that looks like: Production floor open to any client who wants to walk it.
Skilled employment
Printing, stitching, embroidery and artwork are trades. We hire for them, train into them, and keep the team together between contracts rather than staffing up and down with each order.
What that looks like: Capacity of over 1,000 items a day, held by a permanent team.
Ethical sourcing
Every product we source is inspected and quality tested before it reaches a client. Where we buy in rather than make, we ask the same questions of our suppliers that our clients ask of us.

Made to last
The most sustainable garment is the one that does not need replacing. We specify fabric by the job — drill for a workshop, poly-cotton for laundry, FR where there is an ignition risk — so uniforms retire on schedule instead of early.
What that looks like: Fabric matched to the role at spec stage, not after a failure.
Less waste
Cutting to a graded pattern and confirming fit with a size set before the full run is how you avoid a warehouse of unwearable stock. It is better for the client's budget and it is less cloth in a skip.
What that looks like: Size set approved before every made-to-spec run.
Client confidentiality
Designs, artwork, brand concepts and staff data stay with us. We treat a client's intellectual property as theirs, and we do not reuse it.
What that looks like: Data protection commitment in every engagement.
We are working on published figures — waste diverted, people trained, local spend. Until those are audited we would rather show you the floor than quote a number we cannot stand behind.
